“How to Win Influence and Friend People” is Ryan Hogarth’s intriguing look at how Social Business is blurring the lines between people and technology, and opening up a new world of consumer transparency, which can either make or break your business. Described as ‘The social business manifesto for Generation X’, the book has attracted a small mountain of great reviews on Amazon, and holds the number one position in two major search categories. It is currently the #1 Best Seller in Global Marketing.
Ryan chose the Black package, which included two copy and line edits, proofing, formatting, cover design, and publishing in paperback and Kindle formats. The package also includes ongoing marketing support and collaboration, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and e-mail campaigns.
I liked this book so much that I published it as partners with the Author, and we share the royalties. Ryan also received print-on-demand files in order to print paperback copies locally for professional use, and to sell at his many conventions, workshops, and seminars. Michael Jackson’s “Presentation Skills Masterclass” was a particularly interesting project that involved re-purposing existing content, in the form of a training manual and presentation deck that Michael had developed for his workshops and seminars. The end result is a Kindle bestseller, which hit Page One in its Amazon search category in the first week of publication.
Using the Black Package, Michael and I collaborated on a major re-write and update to the original material, including new infographics and a high-impact cover, designed to theme with Michael’s existing website and social media profiles. In his own words, “I present to over two hundred international conferences each year, and the opportunity for book sales is significant.
